Job Overview
The Assistant Pastor responsible for Worship working with the Pastor in charge of the Creative department will oversee the music ministry of the church, ensuring a spiritually enriching and high-quality worship experience. This role combines spiritual leadership, musical excellence, and organisational skills to inspire and guide the congregation into meaningful worship. The individual will manage, mentor, and lead the music team while enabling a culture of worship excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Worship Leadership: Lead our worship team in planning and executing worship services, including selecting songs, arranging music, and leading rehearsals.
2. Worship Planning: Plan and coordinate worship services, including working with the Senior Minister/Pastor to plan sermon series and special events.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage our worship team, including recruiting and training new members, and providing guidance and support to existing team members.
4. Music Development: Develop and implement a music strategy that promotes a culture of worship and discipleship within our church.
5. Community Engagement: Engage with our local community through music and worship, including partnering with local schools, churches, and community organizations.
6. Administration: Manage the administrative aspects of our worship ministry, including budgeting, scheduling, and communication.

The Worship Minister and Music Team Coordinator will oversee the music ministry of the church, ensuring a spiritually enriching and high-quality worship experience. This role combines spiritual leadership, musical excellence, and organisational skills to inspire and guide the congregation into meaningful worship. The individual will manage, mentor, and coordinate the music team while fostering a culture of worship and discipleship.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Spiritual Leadership: Provide spiritual guidance and leadership to our youth community, ensuring that all activities and programs are aligned with our vision and values.
2. Youth Ministry Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry strategy, including discipleship programs, outreach events, and worship services.
3. Discipleship and Mentoring: Provide discipleship and mentoring to our youth, helping them to grow in their faith and develop a deeper understanding of God's Word.
4. Event Planning: Plan and coordinate outreach events, worship services, and other activities that promote spiritual growth and community engagement.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of volunteer youth leaders, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
6. Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the wider church community, ensuring that they are informed and engaged with our youth ministry.
Role Overview:
The Lead Guitarist at United Life Chapel UK plays a vital role in leading the congregation in worship through music. This volunteer position requires a skilled and passionate guitarist who can contribute to a dynamic and Spirit-filled worship experience. The individual will work closely with the Worship Team Leader, instrumentalists, and vocalists to create an atmosphere of praise and worship that aligns with the church’s vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead worship through guitar accompaniment during Sunday services, special programs, and church events.
- Work collaboratively with the worship team to prepare and rehearse worship sets.
- Bring creativity and skill to enhance musical arrangements and transitions.
- Support and mentor other musicians, especially upcoming guitarists in the church.
- Maintain and care for musical equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Attend scheduled rehearsals and team meetings.
- Be spiritually prepared to lead worship, maintaining a lifestyle that reflects Christian values.
- Adapt to different worship styles as needed to engage the congregation effectively.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in playing the lead guitar with experience in contemporary Christian worship music.
- Ability to play by ear and follow chord charts, with knowledge of different worship music styles.
- Familiarity with worship software and tools such as Planning Center, Ableton Live, or similar is a plus.
- Commitment to spiritual growth and active participation in church life.
- Good team player with a humble and teachable spirit.
- Availability for Sunday services, rehearsals, and special church events.
